Building Partnerships and Pathways to Address Engineering Grand Challenges Workshop
The University of Texas at El Paso is pleased to announce the Building Partnerships and Pathways to Address Engineering Grand Challenges which will be held February 8-10, 2010 on the UTEP campus.

This workshop brings together the researchers from the R1 Universities and Minority Serving Institutions, leaders in the industry and the program managers from major funding agencies.
The workshop will address a select group of National Academy of Engineering (NAE) “Grand Challenges for Engineering” by establishing a forum to engage researchers who can bring distinct perspectives to selected challenges. One of the challenges that may be of interest to you is Assessment and Management of Decaying Urban Infrastructure.
The participation in this workshop is free but registration is required at https://urevent.utep.edu/ei/getdemo.ei?id=35&s=_1MC124QD7 . We will be able to support partial travel costs for a limited number of attendees. If you would like to apply for a travel grant, please answer YES in the "Additional Information" section of your registration.
